The funeral of the late Yaa-Naa has been suspended again following fresh trouble in Yendi on Friday afternoon. Reports indicate that several houses have been burnt and shooting heard within the town.

Many shops have closed, and the town appears deserted with fewer people around.

The Regional Security Council has not been able to give the keys of the Mba Dugu palace where the Bolin Lana is staying to the Andani family.

Citi News’ Mohammed Alabira witnessed a bloodied victim running to a police station to seek refuge from the violence.
