Northern Regional Minister, Hon Salifu Saeed. has dismissed widespread speculations that he intends contesting the NPP Parliamentary Primaries in Bimbila where Defence Minister, Hon Dominic Nitiwul, is the Member of Parliament.

The speculations got to a head when posters of Hon. Salifu Saeed popped up on social media.

Speaking to the Voiceless Media However, the Northern Regional Minister denied knowledge of those posters and explained that it was the enemies of the NPP who were in a grand scheme to cause mischieve and disaffection between he and his brother Dominic which will fail.

Hon. Saeed explained that his preoccupation for now is to work to ensure Peace and Unity in the Northern Region and to as well work for both Nana Addo and Hon Dominic to win election 2020.

It must be indicated that Hon Saeed went to Primaries of the NPP in December 2007. It was a competitive contest and he was beaten by 2 votes difference by Hon Nitiwul to become the candidate of the NPP in the Bimbila Constituency.

Though the Hon Northern Regional Minister has vehemently denied the posters, the fact that there are such posters in circulation in the first place makes the development complex and complicated.
